This year, BarLounge, one of Chester’s best and longest serving destinations for cocktails, beers and small plates is celebrating its 20th anniversary on Watergate Street.

It is with that in mind that we decided to pay them a visit, to reflect on 5 years of working in partnership, and serving our coffee.

They are using our Rainforest Alliance Certified coffee from the Daterra Estate, located in the Cerrado region of Brazil.

This coffee is full bodied, with chocolatey, hazelnut notes and a caramel finish – a delicious accompaniment to lunch or as a post-dinner pickup.

The team’s focus on the customer experience and pioneering local suppliers are values shared by us. With an increasingly innovative menu (we’re huge fans of the Bang-Bang Cauliflower!), and an expertly crafted and poured selection of drinks, it comes as no surprise that even after 20 years, it remains a firm favourite amongst locals as a bustling hotspot in the city centre.
