New to Guest Espresso and Filter – Square Mile
We’re pleased to be working with Square Mile once again for our guest espresso and guest filter coffee offerings.
Guest Espresso
Sweetshop is back! One of our most popular guest coffees last year, Sweetshop is Square Mile’s concoction of sweet and characterful coffees, to produce an incredibly fruity espresso, with a unique taste profile unlike anything else.
This blend consists of two coffees from opposite sides of Rwanda – a natural processed coffee from Nova, a washing station in Gicunbu, and a washed lot from Kageyo, located in the Western Province.
Two-thirds of the blend are from Nova, offering silky clean and jammy flavours, which live up to the Sweetshop name. The remaining third of the blend from Kageyo offers a flavour profile of cinnamon and nutmeg, with floral notes which are distinctively Rwandan.
Guest Filter
On filter is Rototu, Square Mile’s first coffee from East Timor, located in Southeast Asia.
Karst Organics, a Dili-based coffee exporter, offers training programs while investing in infrastructure and farms. They have also installed naturally sourced water pipes to houses that previously had no access to running water. These initiatives provide financial relief and uplift the community, increasing the standard of living and ensuring long term growth in the community.
Described by Square Mile as bright and juicy, with clear citrus notes, expect a butterscotch and orange taste throughout.
Our guest espresso and guest filter options are available at both our Bridge Street and Northgate Street locations.
